Terms and Conditions

You must give at least one month’s notice to end your child’s lessons with us. Lessons cancelled and not attended within this one month period will still be charged and you will be required to settle any outstanding bill.

If having online lessons with us, all students must log-in to Google Meet on time and be fully prepared to start the lesson. We require all students to have access to the computer’s microphone and video camera throughout the lesson. Please ensure that your connection is stable before every lesson begins. We will not refund or rebook any lessons missed or disrupted due to poor connectivity at your end. If the student is under 18 years old, a responsible adult must be within the house and available for any issues that may arise for the duration of the lesson.

If having face-to-face lessons, please ensure that all students arrive on time and ensure that they are collected promptly at the end of each session by a parent/carer. If you have given permission for your child to walk home unaccompanied, Love To Learn is not responsible for your child once they have left the classroom. 

Payment must be made in full before the first day of each new half-term. No lessons will be delivered if payment has not been made.

Payment details will be emailed to you well in advance of the due date via electronic invoice. (We use a company called Xero.) Please ensure that you check the invoice details when they arrive and before making any payment.

Please encourage your child to complete any work that we set them to do at home.

Please return all resources and materials in the same condition in which they are given out.

If a tuition session cannot be attended for any reason, there will be no refunds or credits. All parents commit to a half-term block of lessons (usually between 5-7 weeks).

Please bear in mind, that we will do all that we can to help your child become more confident and achieve more highly in English or Maths. But we do not have a magic wand! We cannot be held responsible for your child’s grades or learning outcomes. We are here to support what your child is learning within their individual schools.

‘Love To Learn’ has professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

All Love To Learn tutors hold current enhanced DBS certificates.

There is a toilet and hand washing facilities available within the property. These can be accessed at any time by any of the children having lessons with Love To Learn. These facilities have a lockable door.

If we are unable to deliver your child’s lesson for any reason, it will be rescheduled, credited over to next half-term or refunded.

There may be occasions when your child’s lesson needs to be delivered online. You will be notified if this is the case.
